ABOUT US.

Benidorm Golf Societies are made up of a fairly diverse group of people from all over the World. Not surpringly, we enjoy a game of golf & yet value the social side (banter) of a get together.

Membership is FREE, open to all levels of golfers & NO HCP certificate is required to play on any of the Society days. 

The official Society playdays take place every Wednesday & away day fixtures on the first Friday of every Month, although a number of players roll the potato most days of the Week.

The Villaitana Executive Course is the Home Venue for our Wednesday outings as a large number of our Society Members are Villaitana members too. On the first Friday of every Month we have a subsidised away day at other local Courses. Click on the link to find out more information on Tee Times etc............  PLAYDAY DIARY

We adopt the Stableford points scoring system & play when ready system to discourage slow play. Our members are keen to get around the track without delays, anyone being found to of drank to much sherbert will be due some verbal abuse. On occasion we do adopt other formats for special events & fun days.

A small entrance fee of 5€ is required by all players entering the competition, the donations are used to provide prizes for pin shots, winners circle & away day subsidies. In addition, we hold an Annual competition (Hans Loykens Trophy) for Player of the Year, FOLEYS Cup & Eclectics twice yearly. Our sponsors at THE LOUNGE BAR (Jayne & Vonnie) also kindly donate a prize for our monthly knockout competition. The best 4 scores in any given Month play against each other on the first Wednesday of the following Month.

DISTINGUISHED MEMBERS

Our distinguished members are the backbone at BGS, they make the decisions on all society related matters. DM'S are rewarded for their loyalty by enjoying reduced green fees for all away day events & golf excursions. Our only official management standing being the Treasurer.

GUESTS/VISITORS

Guests are encouraged to join us, a playlist is available at THE LOUNGE BAR. Enter your name, pay the required subsciption & your ready for a great day out.
